Brad VanBergen established WinBerg Construction in March of 1996. The intent was to provide a quality construction company to the White Lake Area that provided professional construction management services as well as general contracting for all disciplines of construction. To date, WinBerg Construction has achieved this with much success becoming not only a leader in the construction community but also a leader in the community we call home.

Estimating:
- Estimating and budgeting is a combination of formal training, construction knowledge and site experiences. With the use of modern technology, all of our estimates are formulated and can be modified with a click of a button and sent electronically anywhere. Our estimating format has been hand built using Microsoft Excel. Our estimates and budgets are standardized by CSI divisions which greatly minimizes the chance for error.
- All estimating is done in house utilizing many methods of calculation. Some of them are:

Scheduling:
- Project scheduling is the road map that aids construction in many ways. It is an integral part of any project that if done properly can save not only time, but money.
- WinBerg Construction utilizes Microsoft Project as its scheduling software. It allows us to schedule using both pert and gant charts, which help define the true critical path of the project. One feature that is particularly useful is the ability to include a dollar value with a specific task. This allows us to forecast cash flow for the owner.

- We can carry any labor, material and performance bond up to $10,000,000 if required. As Construction managers all bond requirements are carried through subcontracts.

We are happy to say no litigation or any other legal action has been filed against WinBerg Construction. We take great care in selection and handling of subcontracts and suppliers to ensure all parties fulfill agreements as specified.

What type of warranty will WinBerg Construction provide?
- Standard one year warranty
- All subcontractors will also supply written warranties along with specific product warranties that are often five, ten and twenty year guarantees based on specifications.
- WinBerg Construction’s office is in downtown Montague and can be on site in a moments notice if a problem does arise. Being located locally means we have much more at stake reputation wise than any other contractor and I personally guaranty satisfaction.
What are WinBerg Construction’s subcontractor billing and invoicing procedures?
- WinBerg Construction will group all monthly billings into one invoice and hand deliver it to the owner with all copied back up sheets attached. The invoice will be paid with one check to WinBerg Construction who will initiate the payments to the subcontractors and suppliers with associated lien waivers.
- This system allows the owner to have all of the information the construction manager has without the added burden of lien waivers, distribution and clerical time.
- This service is included in our fee.
How will WinBerg Construction replace single point liability as in a general contracting delivery system over to a construction management delivery system?
